Where inspection access is difficult or expensive - get in touch
Antenna Surveys
Where regular wireless installation inspections are required, it can be difficult and expensive to gain access to transmitter sites for various reasons:
Livestock surrounding the installation
With the opportunity to escape while gates are opened
E.g. During lambing season or the bull in the field
Landowner access permission required
Damage can occur to crops where installations are in the middle of fields
Vehicular access difficult due to ground conditions, small lanes with limited parking.
The primary offering is to provide low impact visual inspections by employment of a small UAV (Drone)
The requirement for experienced riggers to perform basic inspections is reduced thereby enabling them to do what they do best
Transmitter power should not need to be reduced while the survey is carried out.
Roof Surveys
A lot of roofs require inspections for a multitude of causes:
Checking whether tiles and slates are loose or broken
Gully's blocked
Bird nests in chimneys
Whether someone has completed remediation work to an agreed standard
In a lot of cases, it is just a case of simply standing at ground level and looking at your roof, however even checking whether your gutters are clear on a two storey house can be difficult without climbing a ladder.
Three story houses with hidden gullies and flat roofs require extended ladders and even expensive scaffolding to gain access for a simple inspection
Quite a few rogue traders will inform you that the hole roof needs replacing, without you having the chance to inspect it for yourself.
This service provides a fully independent UAV based photographic survey for your records.
Additional services on request:
Thermal surveys to see if valuable heat is escaping or hotspots are evident
Line of sight surveys (for transmitter installations)
Please note: I am not a qualified surveyor or do I pretend to be, it is ultimately at the discretion of the client to make decisions based on survey results, no liability is assumed for the client taking a course of action.
